Yin Yoga

yin yoga 8  YOGA helps us improve at different levels: physical, mental and emotional.

Yin Yoga (passive) let the muscles relax in order to stimulate the deepest tissues of the body: the connective tissue (fascia, tendons, ligaments, bones and joints). All these tissues become more rigid with age and yin yoga rejuvenates them by allowing them to stretch towards their complete range of motion. Holding postures for approximately 5 minutes makes this practice intense but at the same time it stimulates the flow of vital energy, it calms the nervous system and you can learn to relax more deeply preparing the body and the mind for meditation.

Yin Yoga complements more active practices such as Hatha Vinyasa and viceversa. Complementing the two, yin and yang, balances your energy. In our Yin Yoga workshops you will be able to experience what this practice is about, feel its benefits and learn to include it in your daily life so you can find balance between activity and calm.
